The organisers of the annual Sheffield Charity Construction Ball, which was held at Sheffield City Hall on Friday 21 October, are delighted to announce that the event raised £12,000 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

The event was organised by architectural practice HLM Sheffield, engineering consultancy firm, Arup, cost management consultants, Rider Levett Bucknall; it was sponsored by Kier Construction and Counter Context. The ball was attended by around 250 people from companies in Sheffield and across the region operating in the property and construction sectors.

Commenting on the success of this year’s event, HLM director, Nick Beecroft said: “On behalf of our co-organisers and our main sponsors we would like to say a very big ‘thank you’ to everyone that made the event such a success.

“We know that every penny raised will be used by Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice to help the charity continue to provide high levels of care. We’re delighted to have been able to play a small part in the on-going success of this very deserving charity.”
