Mark Staniland
Director
Mark has been the finance director since 2007, having joined HLM as financial controller in 2003. A chartered accountant who trained with an independent practice in Sheffield, he went on to work for a Top 10 firm with audit responsibility for a varied client portfolio, as well as covering corporate finance and taxation. His experience since 1998 spans acquisitions, management buyouts, finance-raising, systems implementation and business rationalisation. As finance director, Mark takes responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance department, but also works across all HLM offices to maintain an effective link and liaison between regional directors, regional management teams and the board.
