Project SLAM - Catterick Garrison

Catterick Campus 1 provides 966 bed single living units at Catterick Garrison as part of SLAM, including the development of comprehensive landscape and urban design proposals across the whole site with the emphasis on linking the living communities and sport/messes/recreation facilities to create a village with roots, meeting places and events across this major Garrison Estate.

The success of this project and the positive feedback from the users has been recently reiterated in commentary from Vice Admiral Tim Laurence, CEO Defence Estates, and had provided a benchmark for SLAM Focus Group research into identifying continuous improvement policies and actions informing future design development of Single Living Accommodation.
