New Learning Disabilities Care & Treatment Centre, Lanarkshire

A new Adult Learning Disabilities Assessment and Treatment Centre at Kirklands Hopsital in Bothwell developed in line with NHS Lanarkshire's policy for the redesign of services for those with Learning Disabilities and the decommissioning of long stay facilities.  The facility will be considered a centre of excellence for the assessment, treatment and care of several different patient groups with varying health needs and different backgrounds including Complex Physical Needs, Aspergers Syndrome and Autism.
