Lancaster University - University House

HLM were recently involved in a series of refurbishment projects for the University including University House - the University's headquarters.  The brief was to create a contemporary and stimulating working environment for the Estates Department within their existing location.  The original concrete framed building was remodelled internally over 3 levels to provide an open plan office with associated facilities.

Externally a new steel/glass canopy and full height rendered section in the University's brand colour increased the visual impact of the entrance facade.  This leads into a ground floor reception and student services area.

A high standard of finish and attention to detail created a landmark facility in line with the Client's vision.
