St Charles Hospital

Listed II*, St Charles Hospital originally opened in 1881 as an infirmary workhouse during which period a school of nursing was set up by Florence Nightingale. HLM were appointed by Interserve through the P21 framework to carryout works which includes the expansion of the Renal Dialysis Unit from 38 to 66 stations as well as providing an increased range of inpatient and day care mental health facilities in both new and refurbished buildings.
