Belgian Prisons

HLM were appointed by Sodexho as consultants to collaborate with both Belgian and French Architects on the design of 2 prisons: one at Mons, the other at Charleroi. Each has a CNA of 400. HLM undertook an operational analysis and developed masterplan proposals that respond to Belgian specific requirements which were developed around recent model designs as required by the rules of the PFI competition. HLM also provided peer review of the developing detailed design and presentation support.
