Restoration of the 50 acre Sewerby Hall Park to its original landscape masterplan from the late 19th Century.
HLM landscape team were responsible for interpreting a feasibility study undertaken by the Historical Studies Group at York University and ECUS. The HLM design solution considers the historic precedents while interpreting them into a landscape accessed by the public all year round. The works included the planting of herbaceous borders and rose beds to the walled garden, grass seeding, shrub and tree replanting and reinstatement works that restored the Park to its original glory.
