Catford Town Centre

HLM's masterplan for the redevelopment of Catford Town Centre provides the framework for a series of mixed use developments aimed at creating much needed regeneration of a failed town centre, recreating a new civic and retail heart of Catford. The masterplan also introduces an increased quantum of sustainable town centre living as well as the potential for a range of supporting leisure and commercial uses. The urban design solution builds on the established principles of the council's own Area Action Plan, introducing improved permeability and legibility of the town centre through high quality pedestrian prioritised public realm instead of the currently congested and traffic dominated town centre.
