Farnham PCT, Residential

Following the completion of the Farnham Local Care Centre in 2003, the team at HLM have used their experience from the design and delivery of the hospital to develop a residential scheme that responds both to the needs of the hospital and the local context. A mix of housing types is proposed that will make a contribution to the ‘essential worker' requirements and the Councils local housing targets.

Public spaces have been designed that will meet the needs of new and existing residents, patients and hospital staff alike. New recreational facilities, which are currently lacking in the area, will be provided for children of all ages. There is also a superb chance to engage local artists by incorporating their works into the landscape.
